Completion of the construction of the Mayamba Health Center

On the plot allocated by the VDC, the structural shell of the health center has already been built. Due to financial constraints, the planned medical facility was never completed.

Both the VDC and the SVKO–Mayamba Support Foundation are strongly committed to finishing the health center. The existing health post has been “renovated” to meet the most basic needs, but it does not meet hygienic standards or minimum requirements.

Construction of the new medical facility came to a halt. By making use of the existing structural shell, we can complete a health center that meets the necessary standards and provides proper care for the community.

In consultation with the VDC, the SVKO–Mayamba Support Foundation has designated the completion of the Health Center as a top priority — forming Phase 1 of the project.
