Borehole Project | Kampasa

The “Kampasa Water Supply Project” has been a remarkable success for many years. Thanks to the installed boreholes and water tanks, dozens of families gained access to water and farmland, enabling them to grow their own vegetables and fruit. The community garden became an essential source of food, income, and stability for the people of Kampasa.

Unfortunately, a recent storm combined with heavy rainfall has caused significant damage. One of the main water tanks has collapsed completely, reducing the available water capacity by half. The impact is immediately visible: less water means lower production in the community garden, affecting the families who rely on their harvest.

SVKO-Mayamba-Support is working closely with the Village Development Committee to assess the damage and develop a sustainable repair plan. In addition to replacing the tank, the supporting structure must be reinforced to withstand future storms.

Help us restore the water supply

The Kampasa community depends heavily on this water system. To carry out the repairs as soon as possible, we are seeking support. Every contribution — big or small — helps us to:

·       install a new water tank

·       reinforce the supporting structure

·       restore full water capacity

·       give families access to their gardens again

With your support, we can ensure that this vital project continues and that the people of Kampasa can keep building toward a stable future.
