Mayamba Agriculture

Within the project, we aim to give agriculture a more prominent role. Guiding and training community members in growing vegetables and fruit provides families with the opportunity to meet their basic needs.

Our foundation mainly supports the training of young people, facilitated by experienced community members who share their knowledge and skills. The community garden plays an essential role in this process.

The government has installed a borehole in the garden itself, located a few kilometres from Mayamba village. This investment clearly underlines the importance of the community garden for the wider community.
