RKSV Schijndel has been a long-standing supporter of SVKO-Mayamba Support

 The SVKO-Mayamba Support Foundation has been involved in multiple projects in Gambia for many years, including the support of MAFA and FA Moonlight. These football academies play an important role in engaging and developing young people in the region. Our foundation’s contributions have included donations of clothing, footwear, and sports materials. The most pressing need for football academies in Gambia is footballs. Playing fields are typically made of clay, and the few grass pitches available are of poor quality, causing footballs to wear out rapidly. At the same time, balls are relatively expensive in Gambia. RKSV Schijndel has generously donated footballs on several occasions. As the club regularly replaces its own balls, the used ones—despite showing wear—remain highly suitable for use in Gambia. Over the past years, approximately 300 footballs have been donated. These are not used solely by the two academies mentioned; they are shared among several local clubs, demonstrating the strong sense of solidarity within the football community. The balls are shipped deflated, with fourteen fitting into a banana box. The foundation is deeply appreciative of these contributions and expresses the hope that this valuable partnership with RKSV Schijndel will continue in the years ahead.
