🚀 “Renovation of the Kitty Village Clinic Receives a Major Boost”
The Geven voor Gambia Foundation has organized a fundraising campaign alongside the Belgian Antwerp–Banjul Challenge to support the renovation of the clinic in Kitty Village.
The Antwerp–Banjul Challenge is a remarkable road trip from Antwerp, across the African continent, to Banjul, the capital of The Gambia. Upon arrival, the participating cars are auctioned, and the proceeds are donated to various charitable projects in The Gambia — including the reconstruction of the clinic in Kitty Village. The 7,200‑kilometre journey has now been completed, and the cars have been successfully auctioned.
Through the Geven voor Gambia Foundation, several sponsors have stepped forward to support the project with a financial contribution. In total, €2,250 was raised, and 100% of this amount is allocated directly to the project. The foundation has additionally increased this contribution, resulting in a total of 200,000 Dalasi being dedicated to the clinic renovation.
A wonderful achievement — and an even more promising outlook for the future.
